As we looked round our farm we couldnt help notice that all sorts of things seemed to be piled up in heaps or locked in sheds or rusting under the hedge. But try as we might every time we wanted something we never seemed to have it and buying it new never seemed to stack up and finding a used one for sale took forever.

So back in June 2005 we decided to set up an on-line auction site for the farming and rural communities of the UK. It was a simple idea. The site should stay focused on farming and countryside interests for ease of reference and put buyers and sellers with the same interests together. Then the market would decide the price.
